First Advantage Litigation Consulting processed the data and hosted the review for a high-profile DOJ investigation into price fixing. Ninety-nine percent of the data originated in Japan and consisted of both Japanese and English documents. To avoid domestication of the data, we restricted access to computers within Japan. However, once our clients realized that they didn't have sufficient reviewer resources in their Japan offices, we migrated the database from our Tokyo facility to our Pasadena, California facility, replicated it and re-posted it for review by U.S. attorneys.
