Paul directs First Advantage Litigation Consulting’s Computer Forensics unit worldwide. He oversees all data forensics, preservation, collection, and examination operations, including the allocation of human and technology resources at the matter level, and serves as the driving force behind the growth and strategic direction of the department.
Paul specializes in managing large-scale electronic evidence matters, including complex international and multi-jurisdictional data preservations, collections and examinations, and is frequently called upon to produce written reports on his findings and to testify as an expert witness. He regularly advises and educates attorneys and IT professionals on best practices and principles of Computer Forensics, the effect of data protection law on international data collection, preservation and discovery, and the role of modern Computer Forensics in fraud investigations.
Paul is a member of HTCIA (Hi-Tech Crime Investigation Association), the Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals, the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, and the Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen and a Masters of Science from Lancaster University.
